PROJECT DETAILS

Jurin Roofing Services was contracted to complete a full residential reroof for a home in Indian Lake Estates, Florida. The existing tile roof system had reached the end of its service life, prompting the need for a complete replacement. The project involved removing the aged tile system and installing a new asphalt shingle roofing system designed for long-term performance and enhanced curb appeal.

SCOPE OF WORK

The project included the removal and disposal of the existing tile roof and a layer of modified bitumen underlayment. The roof deck was inspected and re-nailed to meet Florida Building Code requirements, followed by the installation of a self-adhered underlayment for enhanced moisture protection.

Jurin Roofing installed GAF Timberline® HD architectural shingles—chosen for their durability, dimensional appearance, and advanced features. These shingles include LayerLock® Technology and a wide nailing zone for superior fastening strength, which makes them eligible for the GAF WindProven™ Limited Wind Warranty with no maximum wind speed limitation.

All 62 rooftop penetrations were properly flashed, and new eave trim metal was installed to complete the system. Existing solar panels were temporarily removed by a third-party contractor prior to the start of the project to allow for seamless integration of the new roof. The completed roofing system is backed by a 50-year limited manufacturer material warranty for long-term peace of mind.

The new Timberline® HD shingle roof provided a clean, updated look while delivering exceptional performance and protection. With a bold dimensional style and advanced wind resistance, the new roof adds lasting value and curb appeal to the home.
